I started wakeboarding at the end of July/beginning of August in 2005 and two weeks later I got my first board, the Liquid Force Team 134 with Alpha bindings.
The reason I got into wakeboarding is that my brother had tried it for a good four years, and after being bored all summer I wanted to try it out. I was really into it, and I found myself clearing the wake within the first day. Almost a week later I achieved my first backroll, then I started doing toeside 180's and little things like that. A few days later I learned how to do tantrums, but by the time I had finally done everything the season was over.
Last year I got out in early July, and just worked on getting my tricks back. I did a couple new inverts and tried doing raleys, and 3's. Unfortunately, our boat was a 1969 hydrodine made for water skiing, so we didn't exactly have the greatest wake for that type of stuff. Even so, we still managed to have some good times.
This year I started early July, once again, and I changed the style of my tricks a lot. I also added some new ones to my sleeve in order to add more variety in my run. My favorite tricks to see are probably nice big backside 5's, and a good tweaked out batwing. Now I can't say these are my favorites tricks to do because I can't do them. I enjoy doing a nice floaty mute scarecrow, just because it's so simple, but they can look so good at the same time.
Well that's pretty much all there is to know about me. I ride any day that I can. I snowboard during the winter as cross-training and I love myself self some good chicken and steak.
